VLAN Service

Introduction Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) creates virtual workgroups by
dividing LAN logically, not physically, into different network
segments. VLAN is a broadcast domain. LAN and routers limit
broadcasts to the domain of origin.
Functions Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) is established on the
switching technology. VLAN sends data 'intentionally' through
the switch and divides logical subnets flexibly while the
SHDSL supports symmetrical data across a single pair of
copper wire at data rates from 192 kbps to 2.3 Mbps or 384
kbps to 4.6 Mbps.
Maximum transmission distance is 3 km to 6 km.
ITU recommends G.991.2 and ANSI T1E1.4/2001-174 as
SHDSL standards.
