VC50/75A ASSEMBLY VC50/75A ASSEMBLY PROCEDURES Tools Required: Knife or Scissors, Hammer, 7/16” (11 mm) wrench/ratchet or an adjustable wrench, Philips or Robertson screwdriver. Step 1: Unpack carton Use the knife or scissors to cut the strapping on the package then lift off the cardboard cap. Remove the cardboard sleeve by lifting it straight over top of the barbecue.

VC50/75A ASSEMBLY Step 2: Assemble Legs Required: The Main Grill Unit, (2) Right Legs, (2) Left Legs, (8) 1/4” x 1-3/4” Hex Head Bolts. Carefully remove the grill unit from the carton bottom, and lay it on its back (use the flattened carton cap as a protective surface).

VC50/75A ASSEMBLY Step 3: Assemble Bottom Required: Bottom Pan, (4) 1/4” x 1-3/4” Hex Head Bolts, (4) 1/4 ” Hex Nuts, (4) 1/4” Washers, (for pro- pane models only – the Lower Tank Bracket, (2) 1/2” self tap screws, (2) 1/4” Washers only. Assemble the Bottom Pan to the legs with 4 bolts and nuts as shown.
VC50/75A ASSEMBLY Step 4: Assemble casters, wheels and upper door support Required: (2) Caster Inserts, (2) Casters, (2) Wheels, Axle, (2) Axle Caps, Upper Door Support, (2) 1/2” self tap screws. Place a caster insert into the bottom of each left leg, and lightly tap into place with a hammer. Snap the casters into the inserts (Fig 4A).

VC50/75A ASSEMBLY Step 5: Assemble Shelf Supports Required: (2) Left Shelf Supports, (2) Right Shelf Supports. Attach a right and left shelf support to the right side by loosening the 4 leg bolts (2 to 3 turns only) so that the supports can be slid over the bolt heads.

VC50/75A ASSEMBLY VC50/75 ASSEMBLY Step 6: Install Front Panels and Door Required: Front door, (2) leg panels, (8) self tap screws, (2) shoulder screws, (1) nylon insert nut. Fasten the two leg panels to the bottom pan (from behind the panels) with 2 screws each, then to the upper door support with (2) screws each (fig 6A).
VC50/75A ASSEMBLY VC50/75 ASSEMBLY Step 7: Install grease pan and cup Required: grease pan, grease cup, grease cup holder. Assemble the grease pan into position at the bottom of the grill base from the left side. The base has a guide track so the pan can easily slide in and out.

VC50/75A ASSEMBLY Step 9: Attach Side Shelves and Front Tool Holders Required: (2) Side Shelves, (2) front tool holders, (8) # 10 x 1/2” bolts, (8) # 10 locknuts, (4) nylon insert nuts, (4) self tap screws. Assemble the side shelves to the shelf supports by positioning them up from below the supports. Ensure that the long edge with 2 small holes face towards the grill.
Slip the rear lip of the Grates (3) warming rack into the two supports extending up at the rear of the base (rotisserie burner housing model VC75). Hook bottom cylinder ring over lower tank bracket, swing cylinder up and slide tank clip down over cylinder top handle. Tighten tank clip wing nut. Ensure cylinder valve is facing towards the front (Fig 13). Fig.
