Selecting and connecting the printer (OS 10.3)

In OS 10.3, this machine can be connected with Rendezvous (Bonjour), Ap-
pleTalk, LPR (LPD), or IPP.
After specifying the network setting for the copier, selecting this machine as
the printer in "Printer Setup Utility" enables printing.
Refer to "Selecting and connecting the printer (OS 10.4/10.5)" on page 5-3
for more information about Mac OS 10.4/10.5.
Specifying the Rendezvous settings
To use Bonjour setting, enable the Bonjour Setting of the copier and enter
the Bonjour name. For details on specifying the Bonjour Setting of this ma-
chine, refer to the User's Guide [POD Administrator's Reference or Main
Body].

Detail
For Mac OS 10.3, "Bonjour" is referred to as "Rendezvous".
Adding a printer

Select "HDD" - "Applications" - "Utilities" where the driver was in-
stalled, and then double-click "Printer Setup Utility" to open it.

When the Add Printer dialog box appears, click the [Add]. When the
printer list appears, click the [Add].

Select [Rendezvous] as a connection method, and then select an in-
tended printer name from among those detected.

Select "KONICA MINOLTA" in "Printer Model", select [KONICA
MINOLTA1200/1051PS(P)] from the list of models, and then click the
[Add].
If the selected printer is registered in the printer list, the setting pro-
cedure is completed.
