PostScript PPD Printer Driver setting (Mac OS X)
- [Type 2] is suitable for printing the curved sections of normal characters.
- [Type 3] is suitable for printing the curved sections of ornamental writings
and fine characters.
- No [Smoothing] function is available when [Resolution] is set to [1200
dpi].
Fine Line Precision
A setting is made when you want to make characters fine so that they be-
come easy to read.
A selection is made from among Level 1 and 4 for [Fine Line Precision]. The
larger the level number, the more fine the characters printed.
Copy Protect
When you want to make a printing with the copy protect set to prevent an
unauthorized copying, make a selection of [On] and then set [Preset Stamp]
and [Back Pattern].
Preset Stamp
Select a feint character to prevent an unauthorized copying.
Back Pattern
Make a selection of the background pattern to prevent an unauthorized cop-
ying.
