Overheating protection

The induction coil is equipped with
overheating protection. Before the in-
duction coil gets too hot, overheating
protection cuts in in one of the following
ways:
– If the booster function is being used
it will be switched off.
– The set power level will be reduced.
– The induction wok switches itself off
automatically and  appears in the
display.
 Turn the control to '0'.
If the control is not turned back to "0",
 and  will flash in the display altern-
ately.
You can use the wok again as usual
when the fault code has gone out.

The overheating protection mechanism
can be triggered by:
– the wok being used at maximum
power for too long.
– Insufficient ventilation to the under-
side of the hob.
If, despite removing the cause, the
overheating protection mechanism trig-
gers again, contact Miele.
