How it works
An induction coil is located underneath
the induction wok. When the appliance
is switched on, this coil creates a mag-
netic field. This magnetic field in turn
creates, or induces, current in the base
of the wok pan on it. The wok basin it-
self is heated up indirectly by the heat
given off by the wok pan.
Induction heating only works when the
wok pan supplied is used (see "Suitable
pans").
The  symbol will light up if
– the wok it is switched on without the
wok pan in place.
– if the wok pan is removed from the
appliance whilst it is switched on.
If the wok pan is replaced within 3
minutes, the  symbol will go out and
you can continue as normal.
If the wok pan is not replaced, the wok
will switch itself off automatically after 3
minutes.  will flash alternately in the
display with .

When the wok is switched on
either deliberately or by mistake, or
when there is residual heat present,
there is the risk of any metal items
left on the wok heating up.
Danger of burning.
Do not use the wok as a resting
place for items. Switch the wok off
after use by turning the control to
"0".
