Different sound types, e.g. stereo
and mono sound, may be available
for your TV channels. Different audio
programs* may also be available.
While you are watching a TV
channel, you can select a Second
Audio Program (SAP). Simply switch
between the types of sound
available. You can only select the
sound channels which are actually
being broadcast.
*NOTE! You can preset a sound type
(mono/stereo) or SAP, a Second Audio Program,
for TV sources via the FINE TUNE menu. Please
refer to Edit and fine tune channels for further
information.
Select sound type
Select mono, stereo or SAP
The available sound types will be displayed on
the screen. For sources other than TV, the
different types of sound and displayed
information depend on the source currently in
use. The type of sound you select applies until
you switch BeoSystem 1 to standby or select
another sound type.
LIST Press LIST repeatedly until
SOUND is shown in the Beo4
SOUND
display
GO Press GO to display the current
sound type on the screen
STEREO
GO Press GO repeatedly to display
GO and listen to the available sound
types
EXIT Press to exit the SOUND function
In order to call up SOUND in the Beo4 display, it is
necessary to add the function to Beo4. Please refer
to 'Customising your Beo4' in Beo4's own User's
guide for further information.
