Connect IR transmitters
In order to operate non-Bang & Olufsen
products with Beo4, you must connect a
low-power IR transmitter to each of the
products. Refer to the enclosed Product List to
see which products are compatible with
BeoSystem 1.
Each device has a dedicated connection area
clearly marked on the BeoSystem 1 rear
connection panel. Plug the device's IR
transmitter into the corresponding socket
marked CTRL. Mount the transmitters on the
products. If you would like to be able to use
the remote control delivered with the
product, do not cover the product's own IR
receiver completely.
Please refer to Register equipment connected
to BeoSystem 1 for information about how to
register extra equipment, such as a DVD
player.
