7.3 Installing license keys

Result
● The WES7 operating system is installed.
● WES7 P: The Multitouch functions are available.
● The operating system's start screen is displayed after each startup.
● A login window appears if a password was entered during the initial commissioning.
Screen resolution
Under Windows Embedded Standard 7, the values transmitted from the monitor are set for
the screen resolution.
7.3 Installing license keys
Licensing the software
The S7-1500 software controller and WinCC RT Advanced require product-specific license
keys. These can be found on the supplied USB stick.
Before commissioning, the license keys must be installed using the
Manager (ALM)
Perform the licensing directly via the CPU 1515SP PC.
Requirements
● Initial commissioning was successfully completed.
● Windows Embedded Standard 7 has started.
● The extended write filter EWF must be deactivated on the CPU 1515SP PC.
