S.M.A.R.T
Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology (SMART or S.M.A.R.T.) is an industry
standard for storage media. It provides for permanent monitoring of relevant parameters and
thus early recognition of pending defects.
SATA
Serial ATA. An interface for hard disk drives and optical drives with serial data transmission
up to 300 Mbps.
SETUP (BIOS setup)
A program used to determine information on the device configuration. The device
configuration of the CPU 1515SP PC is preset. Changes must be made whenever a memory
expansion, new modules or drives are to be activated.
