LCD shield
Description
LCD shield (includes thermal pad)
Before removing the LCD shield, follow these steps:
1.
Turn off the tablet. If you are unsure whether the tablet is off or in Hibernation, turn the tablet on, and
then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect the power from the tablet by unplugging the power cord from the tablet.
3.
Disconnect all external devices from the tablet.

Remove the back cover (see
Remove the LCD shield:
1.
Peel the antenna off the shield (1).
2.
Remove the 10 Phillips PM2.0×2.5 screws (2) that secure the shield to the display.
3.
Lift the shield from the display panel assembly (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the LCD shield.
