SUMMARY OF COPYING SETTINGS
The specifications in this chapter are for the base model. If you have a model with ADF and fax board, refer to
Chapter 14 of the Facsimile User's Guide.
This chapter contains a comprehensive list of all the settings you can perform when you press the Data Registration
button.
HOW THE UNIT OPERATES WITH DEFAULT SETTINGS
There are many features that you can change to customise the operation of the unit. Some of these features are
listed in the table below. The description in the third column is the default setting. This is how the unit will operate
unless you change the referenced setting.
If your unit is not operating as described, this means the default may have been changed. In this case you may
want to go to the referenced page to restore the default setting.

COPY SETTINGS
ACCESSING THE COPY SETTINGS MENU
1. Press Data Registration.
2. Open all panels,
then use the search buttons (
setting you want.
3. Press Set.
4. Refer to the table on the following pages and follow
these guidelines to select and register settings.

DATE SETUP
In standby mode, the date is shown in the format DD/
MM 'YY. Two other formats are available.
VOLUME CONTROL
Every time you press a button on the numeric
KEYPAD VOLUME
keypad you will hear a beep. The volume of this
beep ca be adjusted or t can be turned off.
ENERGY SAVER
Energy saver mode is off and will remain
off until you turn it on.
DISPLAY LANGUAGE
The initial display language is English. Other
languages are available.
NAME STACK SIZE
No paper size is specified for the stack bypass.
You can specify the paper size for the stack
bypass.
SELECT PAPER
The default setting is PLAIN PAPER. Three
other paper types are available.

❏ To return to a previous level, press Return.
NOTE: In order for your settings to be registered, be
sure to press the Set button after making a selection or
entering information.
5. When you have finished changing settings, press
Stop to return to standby mode.
