When replacing batteries, do not use new and
spent batteries together.
When the device operation is unstable, check
the batteries and replace them if necessary.
Take batteries out if you are not going to use
the device for a long time.
Improper use of batteries can lead to leakage
of the electrolytic liquid and device damage.
Note: When the device is in standby mode, it
still consumes power, to completely switch the
device off, disconnect the power cord from the
socket.
earpHoNeS CoNNeCtIoN
To listen to the radio recorder via earphones
(not supplied) connect them to the pHoNeS
jack (12). Set the desired volume level using the
volume button (2) VolUMe. When connecting
the earphones, the speakers will be switched off
automatically.
attention! Do not set high volume while using
the earphones. To prevent impairment of hear-
ing when listening to the radio recorder using the
earphones do not set too high volume, experts
do not recommend to listen to the radio recorder
at a high volume for a long time.
aUX IN port
To connect an external device use the slot (20)
"AUX IN". Connect the external device using the
audio cable (not included).

Volume level adjusting
Use the volume button (2) VolUMe to set the
desired volume level,
low frequencies amplification
Press bbS button (10) on the remote control to
amplify low frequencies.
equalizer settings
You can select one of five preliminary pro-
grammed equalizer modes: ROCK, POP, JAZZ,
CLASSIC or FLAT.
When listening to music select the desired
mode by pressing button eQ (11) on the
remote control consequently. Mode sym-
bols will be consequently displayed: «ROC»,
«POP», «JAZZ», «CLAS», «FLA».
Current time indication
During operation of the device press DISplay
button (4) on the remote control to indicate cur-
rent time.

Connect the device to the mains by inserting
power cord jack into the power cord connec-
tor (22), and the plug — into the socket, the
power indicator (13) will light up.
Press tIMe/proG. button (19) on the front
panel of the device or tIMe button (5) on the
remote control.
Use 9 and : (baCK and NeXt on the
remote control) buttons to select the time for-
mat (12 Hr of 24 Hr), to confirm the selection

panel of the device or tIMe button (5) on the
remote control.
Use 9 and : (baCK and NeXt on remote
control) buttons to set the hours; press tIMe
button to confirm.
Use 9 and : (baCK and NeXt on remote
control) buttons to set the minutes; press

Note: 12 Hr time format implies division of 24
hours into two 12-hour intervals, marked AM
(before noon) and PM (after noon).

Automatic tuning: Press and hold 9 or :

buttons for auto tuning to the desired radio
station. The device begins automatic scan-
ning and once it finds a radio station with a
steady signal, the searching will be stopped
and audio playback will be started.
