Helios Users Guide

Positioning the unit in the vehicle

Do not install Helios beneath metal parts, for example under a shelf supporting
loudspeakers. To maintain high-quality reception, it is highly recommended to
install Helios in a location that provides an uninterrupted view of the sky.
Consider any of the following locations for installing the unit:
Within the vehicle dashboard
Near to the glove compartment
Behind instrument panel
In the center console
Under the steering column
Ensure that Helios is not placed near heat sources, water pipes, or the vehicle
computer.
The following image shows some of the possible installation locations.
Use alcohol to clean the surface to which you decided to attach the unit.
Secure the unit in its chosen location using cable ties and ensure proper
concealment of all wires.
