Moving a Non-functioning
Machine
If the machine breaks down, runs out of fuel, etc. you
may need to pull it with a winch to load it onto a trailer..
To do so, you first need to open the hydraulic by-pass
valves.
Important: Never tow the machine because
hydraulic damage may occur.
Moving the Machine
1. Disengage the power take off (PTO) and turn
the ignition key to off. Move the levers to the
neutral locked position and apply the parking brake.
Remove the key.
2. Lift the seat.
3. Rotate both by-pass valves counterclockwise 1 turn
(Figure 26).
This allows hydraulic fluid to by-pass the pump
enabling the tracks to turn .
Important: Do not rotate the by-pass valves
more than 2.5 turns. This prevents valves from
coming out of the body and causing fluid to
run out.
