n Channel selection
IMPORTANT: Pror to usng the transcever for the first
tme, fully charge the battery pack. Ths wll help maxmze
the capablty and lfe of the battery. To avod damage to
the transcever, turn the rado OFF whle chargng.

BASIC OPERATION

D Call channel
Call channel s the lesure-use call channel. Each regular
channel group has separate call channels. In addton, the
call channel s montored durng tr-watch. The call channels
can be re-programmed

most often used channels n each channel group for quck re-
call.
q Push and hold [16•C] for 1 sec. to select the call channel.
• "CALL" and the call channel number appear.
• Call channel can be re-programmed. See the "Call channel
programmng" on p. 10 for detals.
w Push [DIAL] to return to the condton before selectng Call
channel, or push [Y]/[Z] to select the operatng channel.
