By adding SNMPv3 users, access rights can be controlled.

The user ID for the user who is allowed to access the SNMP agent.
The protocol for authenticating the user. This pulldown menu allows you to make
one of the following selections:
• None.
• HMAC-MD5.
• HMAC-SHA.
This option is shown only when you select HMAC-MD5 or HMAC-SHA as the
authentication protocol. Only users who provide a correct password are granted
the right to access the SNMP agent.
The encryption method to be used in SNMPv3 communication. This pulldown
menu allows you to select either None or CBC-DES.
This option is shown only when you select CBC-DES as the privacy protocol. The
privacy password is the key for decrypting the encrypted data.
This pulldown menu allows you to select either Read Only or Read & Write to this
user.
Select the Enable radio button to enable this user.
