4. Interface description
All electrical connections to the modem are protected in compliance with the standard air and
contact Electrostatic Discharge (ESD).
The modem family uses the following industry standard connectors:

USB mini connector

DB9 female (main RS232 port)

DB15 female (main RS232 and/or I/O expansion connector)

RJ11 6‐way (power supply connector)

5 way plug‐in terminal block (power supply and RS485 bus)

SIM card reader

FME male coaxial jack (antenna connector)

SMA female coaxial jack (GPS/GNSS antenna connector) or other RF options
