12. Regulatory and type approval information
12.1 Directives and standards
The MTX‐3G‐JAVA modem has been designed to comply with the directives and standards listed
below.
It is the responsibility of the application manufacturer to ensure compliance of the final product with
all provisions of the applicable directives and standards, as well as with the technical specifications
provided in this document.
Directives
1999/05/EC Directive of the European Parliament and of the council of 9 March 1999 on radio equipment and
telecommunications terminal equipment and the mutual recognition of their conformity (in short
referred to as R&TTE Directive 1999/5/EC).
The product is labeled with the CE conformity mark
