The following table describes the labels in this screen.
Table 11 IGMP Snooping
LABEL
DESCRIPTION
Blocking
Select this option to discard the frame when the Switch receives an unknown multicast
Unknown
frame. Otherwise, the Switch sends the frame to all ports.
Multicast
Enable IGMP
Select this option to enable IGMP Snooping to forward group multicast traffic only to ports
Snooping
that are members of that group.
IGMP Static
Select a port to be used as an IGMP query port.
Router Port
The Switch treats an IGMP query port as being connected to an IGMP multicast router (or
server). The Switch forwards IGMP join or leave packets to an IGMP query port.
Apply
Click Apply to save your changes to the Switch.
