How to add ports to an IEEE 802.1Q VLAN
By default, all ports on the Switch are in VLAN 1. If you want to have a port belong to another VLAN
as well, say VLAN 123, you need to create a VLAN first, and then add the port to the VLAN.
Chapter 8 VLAN
DESCRIPTION
This field displays the port number.
A PVID (Port VLAN ID) is a tag that adds to incoming untagged frames received on a port so
that the frames are forwarded to the VLAN group that the tag defines.
Enter a number between 1 and 4094 as the port VLAN ID.
Click this button to save your PVID settings to the Switch.
This shows the maximum number of IEEE 802.1Q VLANs you can have on the Switch.
This is the ID number of the VLAN group.
This displays the ports that are participating in a VLAN. A tagged port is orange, an
untagged port is green and ports not participating in a VLAN are gray.
Click Modify to edit the VLAN settings.
Click Delete to remove the VLAN group. You cannot delete the default VLAN.
Click this button to configure a new IEEE 802.1Q VLAN for the Switch.
