Table 5 Switch Management
LABEL DESCRIPTION
Device Setting
Reset Click this button to clear all Switch configuration information you configured and return to
the factory defaults.
If you want to access the Switch web configurator again, you may need to change the IP
address of your computer to be in the same subnet as that of the default Switch IP address
(192.168.1.3).
Reboot Click this button to restart the Switch without physically turning the power off.
Configuration Type the path and file name of the configuration file you wish to restore in the text box or
Restore/Backup click path to locate it.
Restore Click Restore to restore a previously saved configuration from your computer to the
Switch.
Note: "config" is the name of the configuration file on the Switch, so your backup
Backup Click Backup to save and store your current device settings.
Firmware Type the path and file name of the firmware file you wish to upload to the Switch in the
Upgrade text box or click path to locate it.
Upgrade Click Upgrade to load the new firmware.
Change Password
Old Password Type the existing system password (1234 is the default password when shipped).
New Password Enter your new system password.
Confirm Retype your new system password for confirmation
Password
Confirm Click this button to save your new password.
