Asegurarse de que el interruptor
de arranque esté en posición
'KEY OFF'.
•
Extraer el asiento del conductor.
•
Quitar el lateral derecho.
•
Desenroscar los dos tornillos de
fijación (1) de modo que se pue-
da extraer la batería (2) lo sufi-
ciente para desenroscar los tor-
nillos de los bornes en los polos.

Desenroscar y extraer el tornillo
(3) del borne negativo (-).
•
Desplazar lateralmente el cable
negativo (4).
•
Desenroscar y extraer el tornillo
(5) del borne positivo (+).
•
Desplazar lateralmente el cable
positivo (6).
•
Retirar luego el estribo de suje-
ción de la batería (7)
•
Sujetar firmemente la batería (2)

y extraerla de su alojamiento.
ATENCIÓN
LA BATERÍA EXTRAÍDA SE DEBE
GUARDAR EN UN LUGAR SEGURO Y
FUERA DEL ALCANCE DE LOS NI-
ÑOS.
•
Make sure the ignition switch is
set to 'KEY OFF'.
•
Remove the rider saddle.
•
Remove the right hand side fair-
ing.
•
Undo the two fastener screws
(1) in order to be able to pull out
the battery (2) sufficiently to un-
do the screws on the terminal
clamps.
•
Unscrew and remove the screw
(3) of the negative terminal (-).
•
Move the negative lead (4)
aside.
•
Unscrew and remove the screw
(5) of the positive terminal (+).
•
Move the positive lead (6) aside.
•
Remove the battery retainer
bracket (7)
•
Grip the battery (2) firmly and
remove from its seat.
CAUTION
ONCE
MUST BE PUT AWAY IN A SAFE
PLACE AND OUT OF THE REACH OF
CHILDREN.
