The number of seconds that the terminal server waits for a modem to respond to a
Timeout
dial-back signal.
Script Login
The status of the Script Login characteristic at this port. The status can be one of the
following:
Login
Characteristic
Required
Enabled
Disabled
Line Editing
If line editing is enabled at this port, the SHOW PORT ALTERNATE
Characters
CHARACTERISTICS display includes the values for the line editing characters. If this
characteristic is disabled at this port, the display does not include this information.
Chapter 2 describes the functions of each line editing character.
893-386-B
Means
This port must find and execute a script file when a user logs
in to this port. If a script file does not exist, the terminal
server logs out the port.
This port searches for a script file when a user logs in to this
port.
This port does not search for a script file when a user logs in
to this port.
