<Return> key on your terminal.

Determine how the terminal server interprets Telnet

New Line sequences that come from the network

and are bound for your terminal. These are the
[LINEFEED]
possible types of Telnet newline filtering:
NONE*
CR
NULL Translate Telnet new line sequences, such

Prompt a Telnet host to send a signal to the
[NONE]*
terminal that it is still up and running, during a
Telnet session, when you use this character or
control character sequence. (Use this character if
you suspected that a Telnet process has "crashed" or
"hung.") If NONE, do not enable a Telnet query
character at this port. Use this keyword to disable a
previously defined Telnet query character.
Transmit a Carriage Return and a Null
character to a Telnet host when you press
the <Return> key.
Transmit a Carriage Return character and a
Linefeed character to a Telnet host when
you press the <Return> key.
Transmit only a Carriage Return character
to a Telnet host when you press the
<Return> key.
Do not translate Telnet new line
sequences.
Translate Telnet new line sequences, such
as CR/NULL or CR/LF, to a carriage
return (CR).
