3. If the lubricant level is above the add mark, the
lubricant level is satisfactory. If the lubricant level
is at or below the add mark, proceed to step 4.
4. If oil is low, add transmission lube through the oil
level stick filler hole. When the oil level is correct,
install the oil level stick.
NOTE: If excessive oil deposits are noticed, the
chain case must be serviced. Also, when the oil
level is at the add mark, approximately 60 ml (2 fl
oz) of transmission lube must be added to the
chain case.
CAUTION
The correct lubricant to use in the chain case is Arctic
Cat Transmission Lube (p/n 4639-364). Any substitute
may cause premature chain failure or serious damage
to the chain drive system.

FRONT SUSPENSION

It is very important that the bellcrank is greased on a
monthly basis using a good low-temperature grease.
The bellcrank should also be greased after trailering
the snowmobile on an open trailer. Pump grease into
the grease fittings and wipe excess grease from the
bellcrank.

hood and belly pan.
NOTE: Prior to tipping the snowmobile on its

to expose the grease fittings.
