variations of chains: detachable and
endless.
CHAIN ATTACHMENT
When joining chain ends, the open
end
of the circlip
must be on opposite
side
of
chain
rotation. The circlip
should also be facing the outer side of chaincase.

When separating an endless chain, always use a chain
bearing pin extractor. Also, make sure to remove one
complete link.
