Factory Initialization Test; Factory Settings Prior To Shipping - Russound MCA-C5 Service Manual

1. Double click the word "Factory Initialization" to expand its selection of tests.
Right click "Factory Initialization" then left click "Load Test and Send".
2. The Front Panel Power LED will blink continually once the Init is complete.
The Factory Init may take up to 30 seconds before the LED blinks.
3. Power cycle the MCA-C5. Turn it off then back on.
4. Once the MCA-C5 is ready turn on the MDK-C5 for Zone 1.
5. Press the "Home" button on the MDK-C5.
6. Scroll to "Sources" and press the "OK" button on the MDK-C5.
7. Only "Source 12" and then AM/FM tuner frequency will be displayed.
8. The FM frequency will be 87.7.
9. Factory Initialization is complete.
10. Continue to Factory Settings prior to Shipping.

Factory Settings prior to Shipping

1. Set the following controls to the following:
Controller ID switch to 1.
AC240V~ / AC100V~ switch to AC110V~
Note: If directed set the AC240V~ / AC100V~ to the
appropriate setting for the country indicated.
Place the correct fuse in the ACA-E5 rear panel fuse
holder for the specified AC voltage marked on the rear
panel.
2. Place the MCA-C5-E5 in the Gift Box.
