There are two MIF states that are not the result of data corruption and cannot be resolved with the
procedures listed in this section:
Database version mismatch: See "File system in MIF state after StoreAll software upgrade" in
the HP StoreAll Storage Upgrade Guide for more information.
Too many rename operations: Express Query has a limit on the number of directory renames
that it can handle in one batch of operations. This limit is large enough that we expect it is
not reached in common usage. On the rare occasion that this MIF state is seen, clear the MIF
state by running the ibrix_archiving -C <FSNAME> command. Then, schedule the
Online Metadata Synchronizer to run to restore the path names affected by the lost rename
operations. See "Online Metadata Synchronizer" in the HP StoreAll OS User Guide for more
information.
