TESTS AND APPROVALS

The SQ 691-9M/B1 cleaner
is tested in accordance with
the valid DIN EN 60335-1
test procedures and spe-
cifications.
The vacuum cleaner also
conforms to the require-
ments of EU standard EN
filter
60335-2-69, dust class M.
It is therefore suitable for
vacuuming dusts with
maximum workplace con-
centration values >0.1 mg/
m³ and wood dusts.
The cleaner and its ac-
cessories conform to the
dust explosion protection
for industrial vacuum
cleaners, type 1 (ignition
source free type).
They therefore can be
used for collecting dusts
of dust explosion classes
St 1, St 2 and St 3 in zone
11 for heavy duty in
commercial applications.
The cleaner was found to
be suitable for the collec-
tion of propellant charge
powder residues (max. 10
% uncombusted powder)
by the German Technical
Safety Association (TÜV).
When doing tests and/or
repairs, the safety rules
(VBG 4) and also of DIN
VDE 0701 Parts 1 and 3
must be observed and
applied strictly.
The electrical safety in-
spections according to DIN
VDE 0702 are required at
regular intervals and also
after repairs and after
modifications to the clea-
ner.
A dust safety inspection
must be performed at
least annually by the
manufacturer or by an
instructed person, eg for
damage to the filter, for
leaks and for proper op-
eration of the controls.
RESIDUAL RISK!
The functional check of the
safety features of the vac-
uum SQ 691-9M/B1 must
be carried out before each
start-up - in this way it is
ensured that no explosion
hazard can occur during
operation.
At the end of the vacuum
cleaner's service life, detach
the power cable and dis-
card the cleaner in ac-
cordance with applicable
regulations.
