Empty the tank ð see

"Emptying the tank".

After the emptying:
Roll up the cord (Fig. 6)
and store the cleaner in
a dry room. Seal the
suction opening of the
tank with the plug (Fig.
1/7) for transporting
the cleaner.
EMPTYING THE TANK
IMPORTANT!
The tank filled with
collected material must be
emptied after each use.
CAUTION!
For the following work
make sure that cleaner is
switched off and the mains
plug disconnected.
Place a container with
a filling capacity of
approx. 15 litres at
hand to receive the
cleaner tank contents
and a suitable support
on which to set the top
part of the cleaner later.
Water mixed with
propellant
charge
powder drips from the
top part of the cleaner!
Loosen the two clips
and remove the top
part of the cleaner (Fig.
2).
Loosen the elbow-hose
assembly (Fig. 3/3) on
the inside from the inlet
fitting and at the bot-
tom of the tank and
take it out of the tank.
Pull out the locking
knob at the side (Fig.
7) and empty the
material collected in
the tank into the con-
tainer set at hand as
shown in Fig. 8.
After the emptying:
Clean the drop sepa-
rator, the tank, the top
part of the cleaner and
also the elbow-hose
assembly with clear
water and finally secure
the tank again in the
upright position.
Refit the elbow-hose
assembly in the tank.
Make sure that the
elbow is fitted com-
pletely on the inlet
fitting, as otherwise the
top part of the cleaner
can not be put in place.
Check the float ball
(Fig. 3/4) for freedom
of movement.
Fill in water, ð see the
section "Starting up".
Put the top part of the
cleaner into place and
lock the tank with the
clips on the side.
CAUTION!
Before the subsequent
disposal of the collected
material in the regular
home waste, the propel-
lant charge powder parts
must first be removed
through thermal process-
ing; for details ð see the
latest publication of the
trade association institute
for worker's safety.
Discard the collected
material and the sup-
port for the top section
of the cleaner in accord-
ance with the applicable
national regulations.
RENEWAL OF THE FIL-
TER ELEMENT
CAUTION!
When performing the fol-
lowing tasks, be sure that
the vacuum cleaner is
switched off and the mains
plug is also disconnected.
If materials with maximum
workplace concentration
values under 6 mg/m³ were
vacuumed, a respiratory
mask P2 must be worn for
the subsequent replace-
ment of the filter element
or, even better, one with a
rating higher than "P2".
CAUTION!
Due to dangerous reactions
of oxidizing agents such as
chlorates and perchlorates
with organic combustible
materials, avoid an ac-
cumulation of oxidizing
agents in the filter by dis-
carding it regularly.
Open the clips (Fig. 2)
and remove the top part
