Child restraint systems with a top tether strap (Double Cab mod-
els)

Remove the head restraint.
Installing position:

Outer rear seat

Center rear seat

Latch the hook onto the anchor bracket.

Swing the seatback forward slightly. (P. 131)

Latch the hook onto the anchor bracket.

Return the seatback.
Make sure the seatback is securely locked by pushing it forward and rear-
ward on the top.

Secure the child restraint system using the seat belt or the lower
anchors, ant tighten the top tether strap.
Make sure the top tether strap is securely latched.

Replace the head restraint.
Installing position:

Outer rear seat

Center rear seat
If the head restraint interferes with
the top tether strap installation and
the head restraint can be removed
and stored the storage box.
