REMOVE CRANKSHAFT PULLEY
(a)
Using
SST,
remove the mount
bolts.
SST 0921 3-5801

and
09330-OOO21
(b)
Using
SST,
remove the pulley.

REMOVE TIMING GEAR COVER
(a)
Remove
the seventeen mount
bolts.
Using a plastic-faced hammer, lightly tap out the gear
cover.
Remove the cover gasket.
REMOVE INJECTION PUMP DRIVE GEAR FROM
TIMING GEAR COVER
Heat the timing gear cover with the
drive gear to
approx.
6OoC
(14OoF)and remove the drive
gear.
