with the
intake heater connector
fully
connected.
Pre-heating Timer
Disconnect the water temp. sensor
connector.
When the ignition switch
is
turned
ON,
does
the indicator
light?
(Measure the time
lighted)

the indicator light bulb

terminal 6 of the pre-
heating timer grounded?

circuit or
ground faulty
in
wire
harness between
terminal 7 of the
timer
and body
gound.

wire

Open circuit in
wire
harness
between terminal 8 of the
timer and indicator light.
