the six bolts, retainer and
gasket.

CHECK CONNECTING ROD THRUST CLEARANCE
Using a dial indicator, measure the thrust clearance while
moving the rod
back
and forth.
Standard thrust
clearance:

Maximum thrust
clearance:

mm (O.O157 in.)
lf
the
clearance
is
greater
than
maximum, replace
the
connecting rod assembly.

necessary, replace
the

shaft.
