Printing the Hex Code

A hex code printout (or hex dump) translates all incoming data to
hexadecimal equivalents. A hex dump lists all EBCDIC character data
received from the host computer with their corresponding two–digit
hexadecimal codes. Hex dumps are used to troubleshoot data stream related
problems.
You can print the hex dump ("PRINT DUMP"). or you can output the dump
through a serial port ("RS232 DUMP").
To put the dump on disk, attach a computer to the RS232 port and set up
your computer system so that it can access the printer's RS232 port.
