4.1.8 Now, control the throttle so that the machine runs evenly for it to reach full
speed.
4.1.9 As soon as the engine is running smoothly, the choke may be returned to its
normal position.
4.2 Spark plug check or replacement.
4.2.1 Pull the spark plug cover off, unscrew the plug using the plug wrench and
replace it.
4.2.2 If you are checking the spark plug remember to clean it and check that it is
correctly adjusted.
4.2.3 If you are replacing the spark plug remember to check that it is correctly
adjusted.
4.3 Operation safety instructions.
4.3.1 To turn the machine off, the switch has to be in "STOP" position.
4.3.1.1 When cutting hedges, shrubs and bushes, check local regulations for
restrictions on use at certain times especially in communal living areas.
4.3.1.2 DO NOT trim hedges, shrubs and bushes etc. at night.
4.3.1.3 Make sure that there are no wire fencing materials in the hedge/
shrub you are cutting. This will damage the cutting bald and may cause injury.
4.3.1.4 When working in hedges, shrubs and bushes, the working height must
be 15 cm as a minimum not to expose animals, such as hedgehogs, at any
risk.
When the machine is running never put the hedge trimmer on the ground.
Always use with extension attached.
