5.2 Continued - Maintenance chart.
6. TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
6.1 When transporting the machine take the following actions:
6.1.1 Stop the machine and drain the fuel tank before transporting.
6.1.2 If transporting in a vehicle secure the machine to prevent damage whilst the
vehicle is in motion.
6.1.3 If transporting by hand use carrying handle and avoid bumping machine into
people of other objects.
6.2 If the hedge trimmer is to be out of operation for a long period of time (over
1 month), take the following actions:
6.2.1 Drain the fuel tank.
6.2.2 Wipe the external part of the case with a soft cloth soaked in fine suds.
6.2.3 Store the set at an elevated locked place outside the reach of children.
6.2.4 Store the set at a dry place.
6.2.5 The hedge trimmer should be packed well to prevent damage.
