factory settings
When the settings are restored, all hand-
sets are de-registered. Each individual set-
ting is restored. Only the date and time are
retained.

The following settings are only needed
when your PABX requires them. Please
refer to the user guide of your PABX.
Changing the dialing mode

Switching temporarily to dual-tone
multifrequency dialing (DTMF)
If your PABX is still using pulse dialing
(PD), but tone dialing is required for a con-
nection (e.g., to play back your network
mailbox), you must switch temporarily to
tone dialing.
Requirement: You are conducting a call
or have already dialed an external
number.
Press the flash key c . Tone dialing is now
activated for this call only.
