■ Print Head Test
Tests the print head by printing solid black for several lines. If this sample has vertical white lines in
the black area this can indicate that the print head requires cleaning or repair. Refer to the printer's
owner's manual for further instructions regarding routine maintenance.

4.6.2. CashDrawer/Peripheral Device Test

■ Open Cash Drawer 1
Tests cash drawer 1.
■ Open Cash Drawer 2
Tests cash drawer 2.
■ Buzzers 1 and 2 <Star Line mode only>
Clicking "Buzzer 1" or "Buzzer 2" allows you to check that each buzzer is running normally.
Notes:
The buzzer test button is available only in the Star Line mode, and it is not displayed in
the ESC/POS mode.
In the ESC/POS mode, you can click the cash drawer test button to check that the buzzer
connected to the printer sounds.
4.6.3. TSP100III Connection check
■ Connection check
Click [Check the connection] to check whether you can communicate with the printer. The connected
printer's LED (blue) will blink.
