Information to be Checked First
Problem
If the Network Connection Caused the Problem
Problem
Check the LINK lamp (green). They light up or flash when a connection is established with 1000BASE-T/100BASE-TX/10BASE-T. If the
relevant lamp does not light up or flash, the network is not operating correctly.
Check the STATUS lamp (orange). This lamp flashes during data reception. If the lamp does not flash, the network is not operating
correctly.
The hub's LINK lamp does not light up.
There is no response to Ping.
A print job ends incompletely or is canceled.
If the Network Connection Caused the Problem
Check that the printer is turned on.
Ensure that the cable is connected to the printer.
Check that the printer is connected with a correct cable. There are two types of cable: straight and cross cables. Use a straight cable
to connect to a hub.
Connect the cables before turning the printer on. If you turn on the printer before connecting the cables, you may not be able to
connect to a network.
