Cabling One or More Enclosures to a Computer

You can connect up to four enclosures together and use Fast'RVu to
manage all the modems.
Cabling Enclosures Together for Fast'RVu
Step
1.
Ensure that enclosures are securely installed in equipment racks.
2.
Assign addresses to enclosures by setting the DIP switch on each
enclosure rear panel. Refer to Table 1-3.
3.
Cable the enclosures' NM OUT (or NC OUT) and NM IN
(NC IN) connectors together (Figure 1-9).
4.
Cable a computer's serial communications (COM) port to the
first enclosure's NM IN connector.
5.
Refer to Chapter 4 for instructions on using Fast'RVu.
