The actual installation process may vary depending on different models and situations. For Model 1 ~ 4 Step 1: Loose the screws on the upper cover and open the upper cover of the DVR.

ADVANCED OPERATION STEP2: Find the data bus & power cables supplied with the USB DVD writer, and connect them to DVD writer as described in its user manual. Then, plug it into an outlet for power supply. STEP3: Connect the DVD writer to the USB port of the DVR. STEP4: Wait till the DVR shows the message “USB CONNECTED”.

REMOTE OPERATION You can also control the DVR remotely via the supplied licensed software “Video Viewer” (hereafter called the “Video Viewer”), IE web browser, and Apple’s QuickTime player ONLY when your DVR supports the network function. Note: The buttons and functions described below may differ from the actual ones and are for selected model(s) only.
