TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

Problem
Electric dirt bike does not run
Electric dirt bike suddenly stops
working while in use
Short run time (less than 15 minutes
per charge)
22
Possible Cause
Undercharged battery
Loose wires or connectors
Tripped thermal fuse
Motor or electrical switch
Undercharged battery
Tires are not properly inflated
Brakes are not adjusted properly
Solution
Charge the battery. A new battery
should have been charged for at least
18 hours before using the vehicle for
the first time. After first-time use,
recharge the battery for at least 12
hours after each use. Never charge
the battery longer than 30 hours.
Check all connections. Make sure
the charger port is plugged into the
charging port on the electric dirt bike
and that the charger is plugged into
the wall outlet.
Check all wires and connectors to
make sure they are tight.
The built-in thermal fuse may "trip"
and shut down operation of the
electric dirt bike if the electric dirt
bike is overloaded or the driving
conditions too severe. Once a fuse
has tripped, release the throttle and
wait 25 seconds before operating
the electric dirt bike again. To avoid
repeated automatic shutdowns, do
not overload the electric dirt bike
by exceeding the 140 lb maximum
weight capacity or by towing
anything behind the electric dirt bike.
Do not drive up hills or run into fixed
objects, which can cause the wheels
to stop spinning while power is still
being supplied to the motor.
