4.4 TIME/DATE SETTING
To program the clock's functions, select "TIME/DATE" Tab.The following page will appear:
TIME FORMAT
Select TIME/LANGUAGE Tab then select TIME FORMAT drop-down menu and then selects either 12-hour AM/PM or
24-hour Military Time format with AM/PM.
DATE FORMAT
Select TIME/LANGUAGE Tab then select DATE FORMAT drop down menu and then chooses one of the three
available formats.
DAYLIGHT SAVING
Select TIME/LANGUAGE Tab then select DAYLIGHT SAVING drop down menu and select daylight saving for UK,
USA, Canada, Australia and Tasmania or is disabled.
T/D LOCKING Select TIME/LANGUAGE Tab then select T/D LOCKING drop down menu for turns the time/date
locking on or off. If the time/date locking is turned on, make sure that the time and date format selected is the same
as the ATM time and date format.
If the T/D LOCKING is turned on, make sure that the time format selected is the same as the register's time/date
format. If the T/D LOCKING is turned on, the RegCom-Pro will monitor the incoming data string. If it finds a valid time
and date in one or two consecutive lines, it will set the clock to whatever time/date it finds. A valid time has the following
formats:
where hh is a number between 0 and 12 ( 24 if either AM or PM not present )
A valid date has the same format as for date display and has either "/" or "-" as a separator.
T/D SYNCING is a command that is initiated by a compatible DVR or controlling device that requests the T/D from the
RegCom-Pro. When using an AVE DVR, every midnight the DVR requests the current T/D and updates. This can be
done by direct connection or via the RegCom network. When using the RegCom network the DVR requests the T/D only
from Address #1. The T/D locking of the RegCom-Pro must be turned on so it will lock to the POS T/D.
