Error Messages

When a paper jam has occurred or the top cover is open, an error message is displayed on the LCD display.
Follow the procedures below to fix the error. If you cannot solve the trouble, contact your dealer.

Cause
When the power is turned on, there
is no paper on the paper feed tray.
After paper is fed and folded, there
is no paper left on the paper feed
tray.
When the paper feed tray is lowered,
the key or key was
pressed.
The top cover is open.
A paper jam has occurred at the
paper feed section.
A mis-feed has occurred at the
paper feed section.
A paper jam has occurred at the
paper exit section.
The first folding plate has not been
installed properly.
The second folding plate has not
been installed properly.
The control cable of the first folding
plate has not been connected
properly.
The control cable of the second
folding plate has not been
connected properly.
A paper jam has caused the main
motor to become overloaded.
A paper jam has caused the
positioning motor of the stacker to
become overloaded.
A paper jam jam has caused the
stopper motor of the first folding
plate to become overloaded.
A paper jam has caused the stopper
motor of the second folding plate to
become overloaded.
Solution
Stack paper on the paper feed tray.
Stack paper on the paper feed tray.
Lower the paper set lever. The paper
feed tray will go up.
Close the top cover.
Remove the jammed paper and
press the C key. ( p.4-1

Install the first folding plate properly.
