Operation
When Changing Speeds
5. After the vehicle is stopped, follow the steps 1 to 3 on
page 15. (For stopping the vehicle, refer to Section 6.4
"Stopping". p.17)
Do not shift gears during traveling. Always stop
the vehicle before shifting gears.
Turning
If the side clutch levers on both right and left
sides are operated simultaneously, the vehi-
cle will abruptly stop. Operate the right and
left side clutch levers at the same time only
in emergencies.
Left Turning
6. Grasp the left side clutch lever.
Avoid turning abruptly except for an emergency.
Right Turning
6. Grasp the right side clutch lever.
Avoid turning abruptly except for an emergency.
