REMOVING AND CARRYING THE OUTBOARD MOTOR

1. Removing the outboard motor

1 Stop the engine.
2 Disconnect the fuel connector, the
remote control cables, the battery
cords, bracket fixing bolts and nuts
etc.
3 Remove the outboard motor from
the hull and completely drain the
water from the gear case.

Do not carry the outboard motor
immediately after stopping engine
when they are so hot that they burn
hands if touched.

2. Carrying the outboard motor

Be sure to keep the engine vertical
whenever you carry the outboard motor.

Close air vent screw of fuel tank and
fuel cock before carrying or storing
outboard motor and fuel tank, or fuel
may leak, potentially catching fire.

Please disconnect fuel connector
except when operating engine.
Fuel leakage is a fire or explosion hazard,
which can cause serious injury or death.
