REMOVING AND CARRYING THE MOTOR
■ EF, EFTO, EPTO type
When carrying or putting the engine up
for storage, make sure the side with the
electric motor of the Power Trim and
Tilt is down otherwise air will enter the
pump system for the Power Trim and
Tilt operation.
Note
If you can not carry the engine in an
upright position, loosen the drain

screw on the carburetors to drain fuel
from them.

Beware of explosion danger. Spilled
and vapored gasoline may easily
catch fire and explode. Be sure to
filly discharge gasoline from the
carburetors when transporting the
engine. Wipe off spilled gasoline with
a rag.
