24. Upgrades/modifi cations and repairs
Upgrades and modifications to your PC should only be carried out by qualified spe-
cialists. If you do not possess the required qualifications, have the work carried out
by a suitably qualified service technician. Please contact your customer service if
you have technical problems with your PC.
If a repair must be carried out, please contact only our authorised service partners.
24.1. Information for service technicians
Disconnect all electricity and connection cables before opening the housing. If
the PC is not disconnected from the power supply before opening, there is a risk
of electric shock. There is also a risk of components being damaged.
Internal components in the PC can be damaged by electrostatic discharge (ESD).
Carry out repairs, as well as system upgrades and modifications, at an ESD work-
place. If such a workplace is not available, wear an antistatic cuff or ensure you
are touching an earthed, metallic object. We will charge for any repairs to dam-
age caused by incorrect handling.
Only use original replacement parts.

Risk of explosion!
A lithium battery is located on the motherboard.
Batteries are hazardous waste and must be disposed of
properly.
This battery must not be charged.
In addition, it must not be subjected to high tem-
peratures or fire.
Keep children away from the battery.
f the battery is improperly replaced, there is a dan-
ger of explosion.
Replace the batteries only with the same or equiva-
lent type (CR 2032).
24.1.1. Information on laser radiation
• The PC may contain laser equipment classified as laser class 1
to laser class 3b. The device set-up fulfils the requirements of
laser class 1.
• By opening the housing of the optical drive, you will have ac-
cess to laser equipment classified up to laser class 3b.
